Francesco Lafranconi is currently the Senior Vice President of Beverage and Hospitality Culture for Carver Road Hospitality in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Francesco's journey in mixology began in his native country, Italy, where he honed his skills and developed a deep appreciation for the rich history and heritage of Italian spirits and liqueurs. His passion for the craft led him to embark on a global exploration, where he immersed himself in diverse cultures, flavors, and traditions, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and inspiration along the way.

Formerly co-founder and managing partner of MR. COCO, a visionary cocktail lounge located at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Francesco provided guests with a modern luxury experience, with consummate classic and signature cocktails and unmatched levels of service, raising the bar for cocktail culture in Las Vegas and beyond.

Prior to MR. COCO, Francesco served as Executive Director of Mixology and Spirits Educator for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits of America. Over the last two decades, he also contributed his mixology expertise to national publications, including the Robb Report Magazine’s Host Guide. Francesco is an honorary member of The United States Bartenders Guild, and a Founding Member of the United States Bartenders Guild Master Accreditation Program.

From The Intercontinental Hotel in Cologne, Germany; The Gleneagles in Scotland; The Palace Hotel in Gstaadt, Switzerland and Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy, his extensive knowledge and passion for his craft have made him a hit with his A-list celebrity clientele, world-renowned Michelin star chefs, national restaurant chains, international hotel companies and the myriad of people who’ve attended his seminars and live events around the world.

Francesco’s role as a sought-after spirits tasting judge in prestigious events such as the TAG Global Awards, Ascott Awards, and IWC highlights his expertise, authority, and impact in the dynamic world of spirits and other alcoholic beverages. His most recent accomplishment includes strategy and structure for the inaugural World Mixology Championships, a featured attraction at the 2023 World Food Championships.
